Pedro Schambon’s dedication to organic farming is inseparable from his commitment to helping and educating underprivileged communities.
At My Father’s Farm, he works tirelessly to cultivate fresh, local fruits and vegetables for food banks, support community gardens, and teach sustainable farming practices to those with limited access to resources. Even with such a full schedule, Pedro always makes time to share a smile.
In the past, Pedro and his wife, Dayana, helped establish orphanages across Latin America. These orphanages provided children with education, safe housing, and hands-on training in organic farming, giving them the tools to meet their basic needs while learning lifelong skills. Pedro shares his guiding principle:
“Our most important value comes from being good stewards of God’s resources available to us on earth. We worry that in just a couple generations, people are losing their connection to the land, and children no longer understand where their meals truly come from.”
